The number of African American small business owners in the United States has increased by a staggering 400% in just a year. As the number of black women-owned businesses continues to rise, one of the most important challenges that they face is insufficient access to funds. Finding funding for African American businesses can be an extremely difficult task. So, we are here to help!
While the majority of people with small businesses apply for business loans, some companies and foundations provide small business grants that provide the funding necessary to start or continue to grow a business. The best thing is that grants do not have to be paid back, as long as the business continues to meet the requirements. Because free money is Even better money! Here is a list of small business grants for black women entrepreneurs that provides them with the funding to level up their business.
SoGal Foundation has teamed up with multiple companies and foundations to provide at least (3) $10K and (6) $5K cash grants to Black women or nonbinary entrepreneurs. APPLY NOW!
